Valerie Haley, PMHNP-BC
Valerie is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background in treating psychiatric disorders. She has 13 years of psychiatric nursing that has shaped and developed her passion for this specialty. She is driven to make a difference in the lives of others by providing the tools, education, and care that allow her patients to cultivate healthy relationships and lead more productive lives. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University. She provides services that are a blend of patient-centered, medication-assisted treatment, and functional mental health treatment. She believes focusing on the root causes of an individual's symptoms gives them valuable insight and leads to more effective ways of coping with and managing mental health. Her mission is to empower and support people moving through trauma so they can create a better today and a promising future for themselves. She has experience treating psychotic disorders, mood disorders, depression-related disorders, and anxiety in both State-run facilities and outpatient community/private practice. She is currently working in outpatient and mobile treatment services.
